What is Real Santa Video?

Real Santa Video is a UK-built website that generates a Santa visit video from a single photo of your festive room. The goal isn’t “Santa pasted on top”. It’s Santa that walks and belongs in the scene.

Expect a convincing “wait… that’s really our room!” reaction. You select your Santa style and watch as, with matching lighting and shadows, he walks through your room. If you’re lucky, he may even play with your Christmas tree!

Why it exists

This started on the school run. Pete (founder and developer) was walking to school with his two boys when he overheard a child in front turn to his mum and say, "I don't think Father Christmas is real, Mum."

Pete doesn't even know if his boys heard it. They didn't say a word. But hearing it was enough to make him think those doubting voices spread fast at school, and he wanted to protect the magic for his boys.

Around the same time, something else was happening at home. Pete was playing around with making a "naughty elf" style video, trying to animate an elf in the living room. At one point, he even managed to get the elf to ride a reindeer briefly in the scene.

Those two ideas collided. The school-run doubt, and the realisation that a believable video moment could actually work. That's when the idea landed: what if you could do something even bigger for Santa. Something that looks like it happened in your own living room at midnight on Christmas Eve?

While learning how to do it, Pete realised other parents would love this too, but most don't have the time or know how. So he turned it into a website and a tailored service. Three weeks, a lot of late nights later, it is ready. Just in time for Christmas.
